Fly'n squirrel embraces the wind rather than resisting it. Its distinctive wing-shaped design harnesses the power of the breeze to create a robust and stable shelter, ensuring your comfort even in challenging conditions.

Fly'n squirrel sets up quickly using the hiking poles you already carry.
Fill the sandbags with sand, rocks, gravel, or dirt, then arrange them to form an X shape. Pull them tight and make any necessary adjustments. Lightweight stakes are included if needed; if using stakes, detach the bags from the clips and secure them with the stakes. To save weight, consider leaving the bags at home. Alternatively, if you expect an ample supply of sand, gravel, or rocks, you can also leave the stakes at home. Each set of 4 stakes weighs 1.5 oz, which is the same weight as the bags.
Secure the shelter to the pole tips using the integrated corner ball receivers. As the poles are positioned and tensioned, the shelter unfolds into its wing shape. The poles hold steady, ensuring that there is no movement against the fabric. If the fabric becomes loose or the poles start to topple, tighten the bags and add more ballast, bury them in sand, or place additional rocks on them to prevent any shifting.

Position your hiking poles according to the wind direction: for two poles, orient both towards the wind; for three poles, angle the middle one into the wind. If there's little or no wind, arrange the poles for the best view, or consider using four poles.

Patented integrated pockets conveniently store the sandbag and line, keeping them organized and preventing tangling.

The whole setup packs down to a small bag about the size of a 20oz water bottle.
